Ireland Conference 2026 - Justice & FASD

Conference Justice And FASD

"Justice and FASD" is the theme for the Conference arranged by FASD Ireland, May 14th and 15th 2026. Early Bird tickets are now on sale.

First speaker announced - Dr Julian Davies from University of Washington, Seattle. Other speakers will be announced in the coming days.

Join us on 14th and 15th May 2026 for the FASD Ireland Conference, where this year’s theme, “Justice and FASD” shines a light on how systems designed to protect and support can better understand and respond to people with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The Conference will once again be held at the Hotel Woodstock, Shanaway Road, Ennis, County Clare. V95 TR25

Across two engaging days, the conference will explore justice in its broadest sense, from fair access to services, law enforcement, family advocacy, and the new National Guardian Ad Litem Service, to the experiences of people living with FASD within social care and justice systems. Expect insightful speakers, practical learning, and thoughtful discussion that challenges assumptions and encourages more informed, compassionate responses.

We also look forward to the return of our young people's panel again this year.

Whether you are a professional, advocate, parent, caregiver, or someone with lived experience, the conference will offer valuable learning you can bring back to your own role and community. Both days will also offer plenty of opportunities to network with others and take part in thoughtfully planned Break out Sessions.

Lunch and refreshments are included.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of an important national conversation and save the dates 14th and 15th May 2026. Details of Speakers and Break out sessions will be released soon.
